Affiliate disclosure & ranking firewall
How merchant links can fund Homeapotherapy without entering editorial scoring.
Homeapotherapy may earn money when a reader follows an eligible merchant link and buys something. When a link is affiliate-enabled, it is marked with the appropriate sponsored relationship and the disclosure appears near the recommendation.
The firewall
- Commission rate is not a scoring input.
- A product with no affiliate program can still rank first.
- A high-paying merchant can still receive a negative verdict.
- Merchant-specific URLs are stored outside editorial prose.
- Exact prices are not displayed unless the source and freshness rules allow it.
- Amazon links must use approved program tooling and credentials. We do not scrape Amazon HTML or invent special links.
The repository currently ships merchant destinations in affiliate-ready, not affiliate-active mode until an approved relationship is configured.
